Grandma's Farfel

I decided since this is a food blog, that I should write down a few of the things I do know how to make. This should be a very short series of posts. But this is a recipe that my grandmother taught me called farfel. My ex-husband used to love this and it is still my go-to comfort food.

Ingredients:
(1) container barley-shaped noodles from the Jewish section of the food store
(1) package of instant onion soup mix
(1) tbsp butter

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare the barley-shaped noodles according to the directions on the package. Drain and then place in a square pyrex dish. Mix in dry onion soup mix and the butter. Cover with foil and place in the oven for a half hour.

So damn good.

Am I killing you with my absolute lack of skills?
